The Garmin beta version 27.76 update is now rolling out to the Fenix 6 and Marq smartwatches. This minor release is the most recent in the 27.xx testing cycle, arriving a couple of weeks after beta version 27.74.
The change log for beta version 27.76 lists just one bug fix. The Garmin team says that it has tackled an issue relating to the Track activity. Some users previously experienced the smartwatch shutting down when they attempted to save this type of workout. It does not appear that this issue was a problem for other activities.
This is the latest in a string of bug fixes for the Fenix 6 wearables, with Garmin resolving problems with courses, slow loading notifications and the elevation alert tone in earlier 27.xx beta releases. If you are a member of the beta program and wish to install the version 27.76 update, you can do so by going to the Main Menu > System > Software Update > Check for Updates. It is unclear when a stable version of this software will be available to all users of the Fenix 6 and Fenix 6 Pro smartwatches (curr. $369.99 Renewed at Amazon). You can join the Beta Program via Garmin Connect.
