Withings Omnia new body health scanning device with ECG unveiled

The Withings Omnia digital health product was unveiled at CES 2025. The mirror-like device shown at the event is currently in concept form, though the company noted that it plans to bring the device to market in the future.

Withings is currently developing Omnia, which builds on older products like the Body Smart scales (curr. $79.95 at Amazon). The device is said to provide users with a comprehensive assessment of their health, analyzing metrics like heart and lung health, body composition, sleep, activity and nutrition. According to Withings, the gadget can perform a daily health scan. While it appears to have the ability to measure some biometrics itself, it can also draw on data collected by other devices like smartwatches, sleep trackers and blood pressure monitors.

The mirror is described as an interactive display showing a 3D model of your body and providing AI-based suggestions to help users to improve their health and fitness. You will be able to view measurements like ECG, muscle-to-fat ratio, body temperature variations, and ketone trends, and a sleep apnea detection feature will be available for those in Europe. Plus, Omnia has an AI assistant with support for voice commands, enabling you to get answers to your questions.

It is unclear when a version of the Withings Omnia digital health gadget for the mass market will launch or how much it might cost. However, some Omnia-related features, like the AI prompts and a clinician review, will be launched in the Withings app later this year.
