Garmin has started to roll out the beta version 13.14 update for the Fenix 8, Fenix 8 Solar, Fenix E and Enduro 3 (curr. $851.41 at Amazon) smartwatches. This follows just a few days after the last release, beta version 13.13, which brought several new keyboard features to the wearables.
With this latest beta update, the Fenix 8 and related smartwatches gain additional Strength equipment icons. Unfortunately, the change log does not provide further details here. Garmin also indicates that it has enhanced the layout of the ‘Sensor Connected’ banner. Alongside these changes are almost a dozen bug fixes. These tackle issues with the Breathwork activity, the charging banner and the Meditation activity. You can view the full change log below.
It is worth noting that in the post on the Garmin forum relating to beta version 13.14, there is a message regarding the new predictive text support, which arrived in version 13.13. A team member informs users that, to use this tool, they must ensure that the associated file, a secondary download, is installed. The relevant file can be found in this forum post. Otherwise, you can proceed with this Fenix 8 update by going to the Main Menu > System > Software Update > Check For Updates.
