It seems that the successor to the Instinct 2 (curr. $209.95 on Amazon) is right around the corner. To recap, alleged photos of the Instinct 3 were first spotted last July. However, the smartwatch was not seen again until November, when it popped up on a Garmin support page. Incidentally, the Instinct 3 then appeared in two separate leaks during the same month.
Now, a third-party retailer has mentioned the same smartwatch in a post that it has since removed. As a result, we suspect that Jura Watches' description of the Instinct 3 was accurate. To that end, evidence was captured before the post's removal, which we have embedded below.
Based on the information reproduced below, it appears that Garmin intends to release the Instinct 3 and Instinct 3S simultaneously with dedicated Solar versions in tow. For context, 'S' models tend to be smaller versions of their non S counterparts. Moreover, Jura Watches mentions that all models will support Garmin Pay for contactless payments, unlike the Instinct 2 series. Although a full release date remains unknown for now, the same retailer suggests that all Instinct 3 models will support features like:
- Connect IQ
- Connected Leaderboard
- Fitness Age 2.0
- New VO2 Max training status
- Respiration Tracking
- Sleep Widget
- Smart Trainer
- Suggested workouts
