Garmin Automotive asserts that it can bring next-gen AI-powered voice assistance, customization and entertainment experiences to cars with the 2025 version of the brand's Unified Cabin. It is touted to confer scalable domain control over in-car technology via a single module, powered by Qualcomm's latest car-specific solution.
The Snapdragon Cockpit Elite platform is the first of its kind to have a Qualcomm Oryon CPU - just like the X Elite or 8 Elite SoCs for the most cutting-edge AI PCs and top-end Android smartphones of the moment respectively.
The Cockpit Elite even has the same kind of Qualcomm Hexagon NPU and even Adreno GPU for next-gen in-car smart features.
It will also power Desay SV's Intelligent AI Cabin Platform (or G10PH), a solution touted to enhance the experience of the drivers as well as the passengers of next-gen software-defined vehicles.
