Casio's Pokémon 30th anniversary G-Shock finally arrives in Europe and UK

After being announced late last month to much fanfare, Casio’s highly anticipated G-Shock x Pokémon is finally making its way to Europe. Casio has officially confirmed the limited-edition watch will go on sale across Europe and the UK starting today, July 21.

The G-Shock GA-110PKM-7A will be available through Casio’s online and offline stores, G-Shock boutiques, and select retail partners across Europe and the UK. The watch is priced at €239 in Europe and £220 in the UK.

The watch was originally unveiled last month to celebrate Pokémon's 30th anniversary and quickly became one of Casio's most sought-after collaborations in recent years. In the US, it was sold out within minutes at Casio.com and participating retailers. 

In France, pre-orders opened a few days ago at flagship G-Shock stores in Paris and Lyon. In-store reservations were strictly limited to one watch per person and required a card payment to secure the coveted timepiece.

To recap, the latest collab trades the compact Baby-G foundation of past releases for the bold, oversized GA-110 silhouette. The watch boasts a clear, translucent resin case and band. Its dial, bezel, buttons, and hands are dressed in Pokémon’s signature red, green, and blue color scheme, drawing direct inspiration from the original 1996 Game Boy games.

There are several thoughtful references woven throughout the design. The inset dial at 9 o'clock resembles a Poké Ball and features a playful indicator hand shaped like Pikachu from behind. As a tribute to the 30-year milestone, the resin band showcases 30 different Pokémon. The lineup features the starter Pokémon from every mainline generation—spanning Kanto to Paldea—alongside Pikachu and Eevee. Meanwhile, the Mythical Mew is hidden on the translucent band keeper.

Rounding out the release is an engraved 30th-anniversary case back. Everything comes packaged inside a custom Poké Ball display case and a collector's box. With stock available today across Germany, the UK, France, Italy, Portugal, and Spain, European fans will need to act fast to get their hands on the limited-edition timepiece.
