As per a new Vietnamese retailer listing, Casio's new Edifice EFS-S660 chronograph are scheduled to launch in August in two colorways. The watches will have 38.3 mm solar-powered cases, 1/20-second timing, and a sapphire crystal.

Right around the same time as the new Casio Pro Trek and GMA-P2110B watches, another fresh Casio Edifice chronograph has turned up early via the same Vietnamese retailer listing. Thanks to this, we now have a look at the EFS-S660 before its official reveal. Packaging on the listing has the familiar "AUG" tag, which means an August launch is likely.

The EFS-S660 is built around Edifice's "Speed & Intelligence" design language. It gets a compact 38.3 mm case with a stopwatch accurate to 1/20 of a second and a tachymeter scale set into the outer bezel. The dial itself uses a layered finish. It lets enough light through to keep the solar charging system topped up. A sapphire crystal is present for protection against scratches, and the watch is rated to 100 meters of water resistance, so it is basically a chronograph meant for daily wear rather than just occasions.

Two versions are listed. The EFS-S660D-1A goes with a stainless steel case and bracelet paired with a blue chronograph seconds hand for a cleaner look. The EFS-S660PB-1A instead uses a gray ion-plated case on a resin strap, with a red chronograph hand giving it a slightly more aggressive design language.

Both models are currently listed without confirmed pricing, and neither has been officially announced by Casio yet. There's always a chance that final specs, colorways, and pricing still change before the launch.
