Casio’s five new Edifice automatic watches now available in more markets

Following the US launch, Casio has now officially launched its latest EFK-200 series automatic watches in India. Interestingly, all five variants are now listed on the Indian Casio store. The EFK-200 lineup includes the EFK-200XPB-1A (Toyota Racing collaboration model), the EFK-200CD-1A, the EFK-200D-2A, the EFK-200D-4A, and the EFK-200DG-5A (gold finish) and are priced at ₹39,995 (~$418), ₹25,995 (~$272), ₹25,995 (~$272), ₹25,995 (~$272), and ₹29,995 (~$314), respectively.
Among the five models in the EFK-200 lineup, the Edifice EFK-200XPB-1A (Toyota Racing collaboration model) is arguably the most interesting. Speaking more precisely, it features a carbon fiber dial paired with a black rubber strap. The dial of the model is adorned with rose-gold-accented hour markers and hour, minute, and seconds hands. The EFK-200DG-5A has a full gold aesthetic, featuring a gold-tone case and bracelet and a dark sunburst dial.
While the rest of the three models, namely the EFK-200CD-1A, the EFK-200D-2A, and the EFK-200D-4A, come with carbon-textured black, blue, and red gradient dials, respectively. Plus, these models are paired with a stainless steel bracelet with a one-touch 3-fold clasp.
Despite different appearances, all five models are powered by the same Miyota 8215 mechanical movement, which is said to offer a 42-hour power reserve with an accuracy rating of -20 to +40 seconds per day. There’s sapphire crystal on top, which protects the dial from accidental scratches and falls. Interestingly, Casio adds a screw-lock transparent case back that lets you view the caliber in action. All five analog watches are rated for 100 m (10 bar) water resistance.
