Casio's new LTP-B150 watches launch with an affordable spin on the Tank case

Casio's LTP-B150 is officially landing with three references this August, all sharing a rectangular case that owes a very obvious debt to Cartier's Tank line. You get Roman numerals, a stepped bezel, and proportions of a dress-watch silhouette instead than Casio's usual catalog. Whether that's homage or coincidence isn't something Casio has ever addressed, but the resemblance is hard to miss next to the traditional G-Shock design very closely associated with the Japanese watch giant.

Two versions feature leather: LTP-B150L-7B1JF is equipped with a silver-toned case with a black strap, and LTP-B150L-7B2JF gets a gold-toned case and numeral markers with a burgundy strap, each weighing a light 25 grams. The third, LTP-B150D-7BJF, swaps that leather for a three-link stainless steel bracelet with a folding "Nakadome" clasp, which pushes the weight to 58 grams. All three share a 31 x 22 x 7.5 mm case, inorganic glass, and a "waterproof for everyday use" rating instead of a formal ATM figure.

Pricing is exactly identical across the line at ¥12,100 (~$77) tax included, regardless of whether buyers pick leather or steel. This is a small surprise, since the bracelet version usually commands a premium over leather in Casio's other dress lines. Casio estimates about three years of battery life with average monthly accuracy holding around ±20 seconds, which is quite standard for its analog-quartz movements, and none of the three references get an alarm or backlight. Band-mountable sizing splits slightly by reference — 130 to 180 mm for the leather straps, 125 to 185 mm for the bracelet.

All three are up for preorder now on Casio Japan's site, with shipping expected in August 2026. This launch joins a bunch of other Casio drops, including the Pro Trek PRJ-B001EX-1JR and MRW-240H lineup.
