New Casio Oceanus titanium series launches with 2 premium limited-edition watches

Casio's Oceanus line is getting a new two-watch "Retro Tone Collection." These watches weren't featured earlier in our leak coverage cycle, and their pitch is built around a half-matte, gradient dial finish meant to let color and light shift from center to edge. They are paired with vegetable-tanned leather straps sourced from Tochigi Leather Co. that are meant to age and darken with wear. Both watches are limited to the Japanese market, both arrive in August 2026, and both otherwise sit fairly far apart in spec and price.

The smaller of the two, the Manta S400 Series' OCW-S400RL-8AJR, is capped at 300 pieces and priced at ¥165,000 — roughly $1,043. It is equipped with a titanium case and a sapphire-glass bezel ring finished in rose-gold IP plating. The timepiece measures 46.5 x 41.3 x 9.2 mm, and weighs merely 38 grams. It's also the more connected of the pair, running Multi-Band 6 radio sync alongside Bluetooth pairing to Casio's companion app for automatic time correction and phone-finding.

The Classic Line's OCW-T2600RL-3AJR gets 500 pieces, prices in lower at ¥115,500 (about $730), and skips Bluetooth entirely in favor of standalone functionality — 29-city world time, a 1/20-second stopwatch, and radio-sync accuracy across Japan, North America, Europe, and China. Its titanium case is larger at 48.2 x 42.8 x 10.7 mm, and at 49 grams it's a little heavier than the Manta despite still running Tough Solar power.

Both watches boast Casio's usual solar-and-radio combination underneath: roughly five months of running time on a full charge without further light exposure, which can stretching well past a year and a half in power-saving mode — 19 months for the Manta, 22 for the Classic Line. Both also use Casio's Titanium Carbyte surface treatment for scratch resistance, and both ship with double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Pre-orders for both are open now on Casio Japan's site, with no indication yet of availability outside Japan.
