Casio's new affordable F-91WF watches are now official with three colorways and new straps

Casio's cloth-band F-91 variant is now officially listed, and the leaked specs from a while back check out almost exactly as reported: a 38.2 x 35.2 x 8.5 mm case, merely 21 grams on the wrist, and a CR2016 battery rated for roughly seven years. The three colorways match too — F-91WF-1A in black, F-91WF-2A in navy with a blue accent ring, and F-91WF-3A in olive green with a matching green ring around the display.

The biggest change from a standard F-91W is the strap: a woven cloth band made from recycled PET rather than Casio's usual resin. The company pitches it as scratch- and stain-resistant, and adjustable across a 145-215 mm wrist range. Everything else stays close to the OG F-91 that's been in production since 1989 — a 1/100-second stopwatch with elapsed, split, and first/second-place timing modes, daily alarm, hourly time signal, auto-calendar that accounts for 28-day Februaries, and a green LED backlight. Accuracy is rated at ±30 seconds per month, on the loose end for a Casio digital, though in line with what buyers of this watch have always accepted in exchange for the price and battery life.

One thing that hasn't firmed up yet is price. Casio's own spec sheet doesn't list one, and Instagram account geesgshock's earlier coverage flagged the same gap — all it mentions is that the watches are arriving in August with costs still unconfirmed. Given where Casio has positioned recent F-91 variants — the recycled-fabric F-91WF should likely be priced alongside, not above, the standard F-91W (curr. $25 on Amazon). This just seems like the safer assumption, though nothing official backs that up yet.

Casio's listing shows all three references as new arrivals, with no pre-order button live at the time of writing.
