Casio's W738H series is now on sale in the US at $54.95, available in three variants. The digital watch features a vibration alarm, 100-meter water resistance, and a 10-year battery life in a 47 mm resin case.

Casio's W738H series has finally made its way to the US, with all three variants now listed on casio.com at $54.95 each. The lineup — W738H-1AV in black/silver, W738H-1BV in full black with an inverted LCD, and W738H-3AV in olive green — first launched in Japan back in May before appearing on the UK site shortly after. The US listing has now brought the series to North America for the very first time.

The most interesting feature here is a vibration alarm in a non-G-Shock body, which puts the W738H in a pretty narrow niche. Most of Casio's vibration-equipped watches live inside the G-Shock lineup, which directly translates into a higher price and a chunkier case to match. The W738H brings that silent alert capability down to $54.95 in a slimmer, more everyday-friendly package. Activating it is very straightforward — hold the start button for two seconds in timekeeping mode, and the watch switches all alerts over to vibration, covering the alarm, countdown timer, stopwatch, and hourly time signal simultaneously, while also completely disabling button operation sounds.

The case measures 47.0 × 42.8 × 13.4 mm in resin, weighing just 43 g. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters, and battery life comes in at approximately ten years on a single CR2032 cell. Casio also gave the band a shorter hole pitch than usual — a small detail that keeps the watch sitting closer to the wrist so vibration alerts can actually register. The start/vibration button has its own distinct shape and accent color so it can be located by feel.

Feature-wise, the watch covers the full standard set — dual time, 1/100-second stopwatch, 24-hour countdown timer, daily alarm, hourly time signal, LED backlight with afterglow, and auto-calendar running to 2099.

All three variants are available now at casio.com. Alternatively, you can check out the Casio W-217H-1AVCF on Amazon.
