New Casio Edifice EFK-200 automatic watches launch outside of China, preorders now live

Casio's EFK-200 Edifice Automatic lineup has officially moved beyond China. Preorders are now live on Casio's official Japan online store, which basically confirms the mechanical series is heading to additional markets.
The five-model range matches what launched in China, though Japan gets its own JF-suffixed reference numbers (and higher pricing). The Toyota Racing collaboration model, EFK-200XPB-1AJF, tops the lineup at ¥74,800 (~$460), with the same forged carbon fiber dial and casing, rose gold indexes, and rubber strap from the China release.
The steel-bracelet models sit at ¥55,000 (~$338) each: the black variant here is badged EFK-200CD-1AJF rather than the EFK-200D-1A seen in China, alongside the blue EFK-200D-2AJF and red EFK-200D-4AJF, all identically priced. The gold-toned EFK-200DG-5AJF rounds out the lineup at ¥66,000 (~$406), higher than the steel colorways but still under the Toyota Racing flagship.
Spec-wise, nothing's changed: all five run on the Miyota 8215 movement (Casio Module 5766), rated for a 42-hour power reserve across 21 jewels with -20/+40 seconds per day accuracy, and pair sapphire crystal up front with a mineral crystal display caseback. Case dimensions hold at 43.6 x 38 x 11.9 mm. What's interesting is the price jump over China. The Chinese EFK-200D-1A and D-2A opened at 2,490 CNY (~$366), meaning Japan buyers are paying a real premium for the same steel/mechanical combo. While this isn't really unusual for JDM pricing, it's still a gap worth flagging for anyone comparison shopping.
Casio still hasn't confirmed rollout details or pricing for other regions. For now, Japan and China are the only confirmed markets, both via preorder rather than general retail availability. However, that could change very soon.
