Camo meets gold: Casio G-Shock's Bold Camo collection lands in the UK with two classic models

Casio has rolled out the G-Shock Bold Camo collection for the UK market today, putting a military-green camo wrap and gold detailing on two of its most popular silhouettes — the DW-6900CMG-3ER and GA-700CMG-3AER — priced at £110 and £130 respectively. The collection isn't new globally: it launched in the US on June 21, and Japan received it around the same time. This makes the UK release the latest market rollout for what is a six-model lineup worldwide.
The DW-6900 is one of the best-selling G-Shock models of all time. It gained popularity with celebrities in the hip-hop scene as well as military service members since its 1995 debut. The Bold Camo treatment puts G-Shock's "G" insignia directly into the camo pattern. It is subtle enough to miss at first glance, with gold accents on the bezel, chapter ring, and dial text. It still maintains the hallmarks of the classic DW-6900, including Triple Graph indicators, stopwatch, calendar, and multi-function alarm, along with 200 m water resistance.
The GA-700CMG-3AER brings the same treatment to the analog-digital format. It features a larger 57.5 mm case, gold-coloured vapour deposition on the dial and hands, world time across 31 time zones, and a hand-shift feature that moves the analog hands away from the digital display.
The full global lineup includes six models — among them a metal-bezelled GM-6900CMG-3 and the GA-V01CMG-3A, the first GA-V01 to appear in a color series alongside other G-Shock lines. The UK launch covers the two most camo-forward variants of the pack.
Both are available now at g-shock.co.uk and select retailers.
