Casio's new affordable diver watches with rotating aluminum bezels on their way

Casio is now reportedly gearing up to expand its diver-style lineup with the MTD-145, a new analog watch that has surfaced online ahead of an official announcement. Based on leaked images from Casioblog, the MTD-145 is coming in at least four colorways — black (MTD-145D-1A), silver-grey (MTD-145D-7A), green (MTD-145D-3A), and blue (MTD-145D-2A) — each with a stainless-steel case and bracelet with a color-matched rotating bezel.
The bezel is aluminum rather than steel, which keeps costs down and makes anodized color coatings easier to apply. It features the expected triangular marker and notched edge that lets it double as a rudimentary elapsed-time tracker. Dial indices are cut slightly short but still look to be legible across lighting conditions, and the hands have a professional diver-watch profile with a sharp seconds hand. Date sits at 3 o'clock.
Case dimensions come in at 47.5 x 43.2 x 10.3 mm with a 124 g weight, which is reasonably sized for the segment. The case back is screw-down, water resistance is rated at 50 meters (5 bar), and the crystal is mineral glass. Battery life is rated at three years.
At around $100, the MTD-145 fits nicely into Casio's budget-friendly analog tier, where the brand gets you a proper diver design without the hefty price tag. Think of it as the kind of watch that goes for both style and practicality at this price point. The MDV series (with models like the MDV-106DD-1A1VCF, curr. $99 on Amazon) is also a neat alternative.
An official announcement is expected within weeks, with sales reportedly beginning in July 2026. No word yet on regional availability or exact pricing outside of the ~$100 ballpark.
