Many users believe Rockstar is intentionally keeping his role in the story secret for now. Some fans point out that the character comes across as friendly and easygoing, which could make him an emotional trigger for a dramatic story beat later on. Comparisons have already been made to Roman Bellic in GTA 4, who, depending on the player’s choices, can become one of the game’s most tragic figures.

Another common theory is that the character could be kidnapped or killed during the story, setting Lucia on a path of revenge.
