GameSir G7 Pro tri-mode controller for Xbox gets an Aimlabs edition

Back in January, GameSir released a version of its G7 Pro controller in collaboration with Aimlabs. This variant of the controller, which is sold as the G7 Pro 8K Aimlabs Edition and works with PC only, isn't just cosmetically different from the other G7 Pro controllers, but also has some major upgrades such as an 8,000Hz polling rate. Now, GameSir has announced another G7 Pro controller in collaboration with Aimlabs, and this version has support for Xbox consoles

The controller is officially called the Game G7 Pro Aimlabs Edition (For Xbox), and it isn't an Xbox Edition of the Aimlabs controller for PC. As a matter of fact, this is just an Aimlabs-themed version of the standard G7 Pro tri-mode controller (read our review).

The new controller has a black faceplate with a gradient teal finish at the bottom, and while the grips are translucent teal, they are a different shade from that of the PC version. The trigger buttons and extra bumper buttons are the same translucent teal, while the thumbsticks and D-pad are black. It also comes with a charging dock that has an Aimlabs logo. Since this is an Xbox supported controller, it has the Xbox logo on the home button.

In terms of features, the GameSir G7 Pro Aimlabs Edition is no different from the standard G7 Pro. This means wired connectivity when used with an Xbox console (Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X); wired and 2.4GHz wireless support when used with a PC; and Bluetooth connectivity when connected to an Android device.

The controller has GameSir's Mag-Res TMR sticks, Hall Effect Analog triggers with micro switch trigger stops, six-axis gyroscope (PC only), optical micro switch ABXY buttons, mechanical micro switch D-pad, and four customizable buttons.

It also has four rumble motors, a 1000Hz polling rate when used with a PC, an audio jack, and a 1200mAh battery capacity. Users will be able to customize the controller using the GameSir Nexus software which can be downloaded on PC or Xbox via the Microsoft Store.
