After launching Cammy and Chun-Li editions, Razer has announced a Ryu edition of its Kitsune arcade controller. The new special edition is available to pre-order now, but there's also a sale on the standard edition.

It has been almost three years since Razer announced the Kitsune leverless controller for fighting games. The controller, which is compatible with the PS5 and PCs, has now received a new version.

Called the Razer Kitsune - Ryu Edition, this is the third version of the controller based on a Street Fighter character. When the controller first launched in August 2023, it was available to buy in Cammy and Chun-Li Editions, alongside a standard edition. There's also a 2XKO edition and an Esports green edition.

Razer Kitsune - Ryu Edition is available to pre-order now for $319.99 exclusively on the Razer website, ahead of shipping on July 10. However, you do get the $19.99 Razer L33T Pack as a free gift and a $100 Gaming Chair reward. There's also free shipping if you are in the United States. This is a limited edition controller and there's no mention of how many units are available, so if you want one, you shouldn't delay.

If you don't care for the Ryu special edition, the standard Razer Kitsune is on sale for $199.99 on the Razer store (original price is $299.99), but Amazon currently has it for $149.15 for Prime members, and $157 for non-Prime subscribers. The Kitsune Esports Green edition is also on sale on the Razer website for $209.99 instead of $309.99.

The Razer Kitsune is an all-button Arcade controller with low-profile linear optical switches. It has a quad movement button layout, Razer Chroma Lighting, and connects to your PS5 or Windows PC via an included USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable. There's also a built-in lock to secure the cable and a tournament lock switch that disables non-essential buttons.
