GameSir launches two new controllers themed after original Xbox console

GameSir and 8BitDo are known for their Xbox-licensed products, but only the latter offers Xbox-themed products inspired by the translucent green design of the original Xbox console. Not wanting to be left behind, GameSir has now launched two new controllers with a similar design.

The new controllers are the T7 Pro Retro Green and T7 Pro W Retro Green. Both controllers have an identical design with their gradient translucent retro green shell, translucent D-pad, and colored ABXY buttons. The two controllers also have dynamic RGB lighting, which adds a bit of flair to the overall design. The GameSir T7 Pro Retro Green also gets a black charging dock since it is a wireless controller with a built-in battery.

With respect to features, the T7 Pro Retro Green has Mag-Res TMR Sticks, while the T7 Pro W Retro Green has Hall Effect sticks. Both have Hall Effect analog triggers with trigger stops, membrane ABXY buttons, two remappable back buttons, laser-engraved textured grips, four rumble motors, and an audio jack. Both controllers support customization using the GameSir Nexus software available on PC and Xbox.

The GameSir T7 Pro Retro Green has tri-mode connectivity. It can be connected to an Xbox via the included 2.4GHz wireless dongle or via the included USB cable. It can also be connected to a PC via 2.4GHz wireless or wired USB, while Android users can connect the controller to their device via Bluetooth. On the other hand, the GameSir T7 Pro W Retro Green connects to Xbox consoles and PCs via the included braided USB cable.

The GameSir T7 Pro Retro Green controller costs $69.99, This is a lower price tag than the $89.99 T7 Pro Sugar Whirl Wireless Controller for Xbox and the $99.99 G7 Pro Wuchang Fallen Feathers Edition Wireless controller for Xbox. This makes it GameSir's cheapest wireless controller for Xbox. It should also be cheaper than the Xbox Wireless Controller X25 Special Edition. However, it is only available to pre-order now, as it won't be released until August.

The T7 Pro W Retro Green is available to buy now for $49.99 on Amazon and on GameSir's website. Both controllers come with a free Xbox Game Pass Ultimate voucher.
