GameSir's new Tarantula 8K PC controller gets a special edition

Just a few weeks after announcing three new Tarantula controllers, GameSir has announced another controller. Although, this new controller is a special edition of one of the three announced earlier this month.
The new controller is the GameSir Tarantula 8K PC - MenaRD Edition, and it is a special edition of the Tarantula 8K PC, with the difference being the paint job. The MenaRD edition was first revealed in August, 2025. Although, back then we thought it was a special edition of the Tarantula Pro wireless controller, no thanks to GameSir's lack of details.
Unlike the standard version of the Tarantula 8K PC which is orange, the Tarantula 8K PC - MenaRD Edition is mostly green, with a bit of gold. On the right grip is the signature of MenaRD a.k.a. Saul Leonardo Mena II, a GameSir brand ambassador and the EVO 2025 champion for Street Fighter 6. This is the second MenaRD special edition controller released this year, coming almost a month after the GameSir Tegenaria Lite MenaRD Edition (standard version available for $15.99 on Amazon).
The GameSir Tarantula 8K PC - MenaRD Edition has the same features as the standard edition. So you get a wired controller for PC with GameSir's Gen-2 Mag-Res TMR sticks and Hall Effect analog triggers with trigger stops that let users switch to micro switch triggers.
It also has an 8,000Hz polling rate, 0.5ms low-latency, a six-axis gyroscope, nine programmable buttons, micro Switch ABXY buttons, dynamic RGB lighting, an audio jack, and Esports-grade customization using the GameSir Connect software. The controller is pretty light at 180 grams, due to its lack of a battery and vibration motors.
With a price tag of $69.99, the GameSir Tarantula 8K PC - MenaRD Edition is available to pre-order now ahead of shipping in July. The standard version is also available to pre-order at the same price, but it will begin to ship in June.
