GameSir Pocket Taco controller lands on Amazon with a 22% discount

At CES 2026, GameSir announced a mobile controller designed for smartphones. Called the Pocket Taco, the Bluetooth controller transforms an Android smartphone or iPhone into a Game Boy-like vertical handheld, allowing users to play retro games or even modern games designed for vertical displays.
Since its release, the GameSir Pocket Taco has been exclusive to the manufacturer's website. Now, GameSir says it is available to buy on Amazon, and it arrives on the platform with a discount. The controller, which costs $34.99 on GameSir's website, surprisingly has a list price of $44.99 on Amazon, but buyers can purchase it for $34.99 (22% off).
The GameSir Pocket Taco connects to a compatible smartphone via Bluetooth and attaches to the device via a clamp mechanism. The inside of the controller is lined with soft silicone pads to protect your phone. The controller features membrane D-pad and ABXY buttons while the triggers and bumpers have tactile switches.
The controller works with the GameSir app which gives users a handful of customization options such as adjusting the aspect ratio/display scaling, modifying the button layout (Switch or Xbox), swapping the L1 and L2 or R1 and R2 keys, enabling D-pad diagonal lock, and activating a keyboard mode.
The GameSir Pocket Taco weighs 62.2 grams and has a built-in 600mAh battery capacity that should provide hours of gameplay. The controller also has a hollow-bottom that aligns with your phone's port, allowing you to thread in a charging cable, so you can charge while playing.
