GameSir has announced its first wireless controller for Xbox in the form of a special edition of the GameSir G7 Pro that's based on Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. The new controller is available to pre-order now but comes with a bump in price.

The GameSir G7 Pro (read our review) was announced a few months ago in Mech White and Shadow Ember. Now, the controller has launched in a special edition that is tied to the video game, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

The Gamesir G7 Pro Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Edition isn't just the G7 Pro controller wearing a nice makeover, but it is a special version of the controller that supports wireless connection to an Xbox console. This makes it GameSir's first wireless controller for Xbox. The controller connects to the Xbox via an included 2.4GHz adapter and has the ability to wake up the Xbox console.

In addition to supporting wireless connection to an Xbox and PC, the controller also supports wired connection to Xbox and PC, and Bluetooth connection to Android devices.

GameSir says the G7 Pro Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Edition's design is inspired by Wuchang's Skyborn Might combat skill and Dragon Scale Armor (Draconic Resurgence) costume. The grips on the controller have a textured design thanks to layered UV resin while the removable faceplate has a silhouette of Wuchang. It also comes with a matching charging dock.

The Gamesir G7 Pro Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Edition has Mag-Res TMR joysticks, a built-in gyroscope with mapping function, and Hall Effect analog triggers with micro switch trigger stops. It also has four extra buttons which include two mini bumper buttons and two back buttons that can be turned off with the switches next to them.

When connected to a PC or Xbox via wired and 2.4GHz, the controller has a 1,000Hz polling rate. There's also an audio jack (works only in wired and 2.4GHz modes) and a microphone mute button. The controller has a 1,200mAh rechargeable battery but the battery life isn't stated.

The GameSir G7 Pro Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Edition is available to pre-order now from GameSir for $99.99 and will begin shipping in October. The standard variant which lacks wireless support for Xbox costs $79.99 on Amazon. GameSir will ship the controller with two extra D-pads, a 3m-long Type-C to Type-A braided USB cable, and a cable retainer.
