Nvidia GeForce Now launches in India

Nvidia first launched GeForce Now, its cloud-gaming service, back in 2013. It is a subscription service that allows gamers to leverage the power of cloud computing and play games on a variety of devices at home. It has been available in the US, Europe, South America, Australia, and many other countries. Now, it has finally arrived in India.
All three tiers are available for the Indian market. The free ad-supported tier allows access to over 2000 games that are ready to play. However, the free tier members are limited to one-hour gaming sessions and up to 1080p resolution at up to 60 FPS. They will also have to wait in a queue before starting a session.
The Performance tier gives access to more powerful hardware and gets rid of the ads. There are over 4,500 games that can also be installed. You get six-hour gaming sessions and up to 1,440p resolution, still capped at 60 FPS. This tier also allows priority access to the queue. It costs INR 999 per month (around $10)
The Ultimate tier lets gamers make use of the power of the RTX 5080 for up to eight-hour sessions. They can experience games at up to 5K (5,120x2,180) resolution and up to 360 FPS. First priority is given to Ultimate tier subscribers. The cost for this tier is INR 1,999 per month (around $20).
This is the same pricing as in the US, and performance will be based on the quality of the internet connection. Nvidia recommends the following internet speeds:
- 15 Mbps for HD resolutions at up to 60 FPS
- 25 Mbps for FHD (1,920x1,080) resolutions at 60 FPS
- 35 Mbps for UW QHD & QHD (3,840x1,440 or 2,560x1,440) resolutions at 120 FPS
- 45 Mbps for 4K (3,840x2,160) resolutions at 120 FPS
- 55 Mbps for QHD & FHD resolutions at 240 & 360 FPS
- 65 Mbps for 5K resolutions at 120 FPS
