Nvidia quietly increases Jetson prices by up to 101%
NVIDIA has quietly raised prices across its entire Jetson lineup, with some modules or developer kits costing twice as much as before. The changes appeared directly on the company's official pricing page without any accompanying statement or explanation, and were first noticed by an eagle-eyed reader at Videocardz.
The increases vary widely but are steep across the board. The Jetson AGX Thor Developer Kit, for example, now costs $5,499, up from $3,499, while the Orin Nano Super Developer Kit has jumped from $249 to $399. Older hardware saw some of the sharpest hikes: the long-running Jetson Nano module has doubled in price, moving from $99 to $199, even though nothing about the product itself has changed.

Industry observers suspect that surging memory prices are behind the hikes, since Jetson boards rely heavily on DRAM. With no official comment from NVIDIA, and several developer kits currently unavailable in the US, it remains unclear whether the pricing changes are permanent or tied to temporary supply issues.
