Lenovo launches new 16-inch laptop globally with Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 12GB and 64 GB RAM
The latest Yoga Pro 9 has received a silent refresh globally. To recap, Lenovo announced its 2026 edition in January during CES. At launch, the company claimed that the Yoga Pro 9 16IPH11 would be configurable with up to Intel's Core Ultra 9 386H processor, 64 GB of RAM and Nvidia's GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU with 8 GB of VRAM.
Upon release in April, one could only configure the laptop with up to the lesser GeForce RTX 5060 (curr. $3,039 on Amazon). Ultimately, that remains the case in North America and Europe. However, Lenovo updated the Yoga Pro 9 16IPH11 last month in China with the newer 12 GB version of Nvidia's GeForce RTX 5070. Sold there as the Yoga Pro 16, RTX 5070 12GB SKUs reached CNY 32,999 (~$4,873) when configured with 64 GB of RAM.
Now, Lenovo has quietly introduced equivalent SKUs on its PSREF website, with a 100 W total graphics power (TGP) assigned to match the RTX 5050 and RTX 5060. For the time being, we cannot find the Yoga Pro 9 16IPH11 for sale with the GeForce RTX 5070 12GB. Nonetheless, PSREF reveals that these versions will eventually go on sale globally, albeit as the Lenovo Pro 9 16IPH11 in North America.
Moreover, the updated Yoga Pro 9 16IPH11 will only be available with 64 GB of RAM, a Core Ultra 9 386H processor and a Tandem OLED display combining a 3,200 x 2,000-pixel resolution, a 120 Hz variable refresh rate and 1,600 nits peak brightness in HDR mode. Unfortunately, Lenovo has not indicated when these new SKUs will arrive, nor for how much. In the meantime, please see our 2025 review and associated video embedded below.
