Lenovo launches affordable AMD laptop with eGPU support and light build

Lenovo has introduced the refreshed Lecoo Pro 14, and the 2026 model is available with both Intel and AMD processors. Among the two, the latter is powered by the Ryzen 7 H 255, a rebrand of the 8745H from the Hawk Point lineup.

This AMD laptop also has the Radeon 780M iGPU, capable of handling modern games at the 1080p resolution with the visual settings turned down. There's an OCuLink port as well, which will be handy for those who might require more GPU power for both gaming and other workloads.

On the front, this Lenovo laptop comes with a 14-inch display that has a resolution of 2880x1800 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness rating of 400 nits. The company highlights that the panel has 100% sRGB coverage and full DC dimming; both are a plus for a laptop in this affordable range.

Another highlight is the build, with Lenovo claiming that this laptop weighs 1.48kg (about 3.26lbs). Although it has a lightweight build, there's an 80Wh battery, which should lead to good runtimes, and it has support for 100W fast charging through one of the USB-C ports (4-port Anker Prime 140W charger curr. $79.99 on Amazon). On that note, the port configuration of the laptop is as follows:

• 1x OCuLink

The inclusion of the USB4 port alongside the OCuLink expands the eGPU support, and users can also use the Type-C port for other high-performance accessories. Support for up to 8TB of storage through the two M.2 slots and up to 96GB of DDR5 RAM via two SO-DIMM slots are among the other notable aspects of the laptop.

In China, this affordable laptop is being offered in two configurations. One comes with 24GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, which has a launch price of CNY 4,929, about $727. The other features 32GB of memory and a 1TB SSD, but Lenovo hasn't explicitly shared its price yet. Global launch details have also not been shared yet, but it's possible that it will be rebranded as an IdeaPad laptop in the international market.
