Dell's new Alienware gaming laptops land in India
Dell is expanding its gaming lineup in India with new Alienware laptops: the Alienware 16X Aurora, Area-51 (16) and Area-51 (18). The new models target different segments of PC gamers, with the Alienware 16X Aurora serving as the entry model for users looking for a relatively portable gaming machine, while the Area-51 series is designed for top-tier gaming and creator-focused workloads. The Alienware 16X Aurora is the most portable model in the lineup at 2.66kg, aimed at mobile gamers seeking solid gaming performance with a thinner chassis. The Alienware 16 Area-51, on the other hand, targets serious gamers who want desktop-class gaming in a 16-inch form factor with front-firing speakers. The Alienware 18 Area-51 is fundamentally the same as its 16-inch sibling, but with a 300Hz refresh rate, a little more screen area and a higher TPP.
The Alienware 16X Aurora, Alienware 16 Area-51 and Alienware 18 Area-51 should now be available in India via Dell's official sales channels, but all three product pages currently show "Call to Order" and "This product cannot be purchased online". This could mean one of two things: 1) the product pages still need to be updated to reflect the new arrivals, or 2) customers are required to order through Dell sales rather than completing an online checkout.
Following their launch in India, all three models are expected to continue rolling out across additional global markets. The laptops are already available in regions including the US and Singapore, with availability expanding on a market-by-market basis.
