Acer releases 16-inch gaming laptop globally with 64 GB RAM and Intel Panther Lake

The latest Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S has been given a global release. Already sold in the Eurozone, the 16-inch laptop can now be picked up from Acer's UK website. Additionally, the same laptop is available to purchase in the US and other markets via KSM on eBay.
Previously, the Predator Helios Neo 16S was limited to 32 GB of RAM. Now, that has changed to 64 GB of RAM, albeit with the same 1 TB of storage and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU. Additionally, a 165 Hz OLED display returns with a 2,560 x 1,600-pixel native resolution and 100% DCI-P3 colour space coverage.
According to Acer, the Core Ultra 9 386H allows the new Predator Helios Neo 16S to extract up to 15 hours from its 76 Wh battery. Although these battery life estimates rarely translate into real-world usage, this new model boasts twice as long runtimes in Acer's tests as the Arrow Lake-HX-based model we reviewed at the start of 2026 (curr. $1,299 - renewed on Amazon).
Currently, the Predator Helios Neo 16S runs to £2,499 in the UK with 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. Meanwhile, a 64 GB SKU with the same storage, Core Ultra 9 386H processor and GeForce RTX 5060 GPU costs $4,140. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen when the faster model sold in the Eurozone will be available elsewhere.
