Lenovo has started selling a new 16-inch laptop globally featuring Intel Panther Lake processors and 100 W dedicated GPUs. Also equipped with a 92 Wh battery, the new Pro 9i and Yoga Pro 9i can be configured with 120 Hz Tandem OLED displays, too.

Lenovo has already released numerous laptops this year built around Intel's Panther Lake platform. For instance, the company began selling the ThinkPad T14 Gen 7, ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 and the ThinkPad T16 Gen 5 last week alone. Additionally, it expanded the availability of the ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 11 and the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 14 to the US.

Now, it has turned to the Yoga Pro 9i Aura Edition Gen 11, which it sells as the Pro 9i Aura Edition Gen 11 in North America to replace last year's Gen 10 edition (curr. $1,899 on Amazon). Essentially, the Pro 9i and Yoga Pro 9i are the same device. However, the Yoga Pro 9i comes with more configuration options, including a lower-end Panther Lake processor.

Eventually, only the Yoga Pro 9i will be available with a GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU, too. While Lenovo lists this option on its PSREF website, we cannot find it on its Australian, French, German, Irish or UK websites. As a result, the new Pro 9i and Yoga Pro 9i currently feature the GeForce RTX 5050 or GeForce RTX 5060, each with a 100 W TGP.

The Yoga Pro 9i Aura Edition starts at AUD 4,029, £2,310 and €2,300-€3,099 in the Eurozone with a Core Ultra 7 356H processor, 32 GB of RAM, 1 TB of storage and a GeForce RTX 5050 GPU. Meanwhile, North America has received the more powerful Core Ultra 9 386H with the same GPU and memory combination for $2,799 in the US and CAD 3,889 in Canada. For reference, this US pricing is $900 more than Lenovo announced in January during CES 2026.

Setting that aside, the Pro 9i and Yoga Pro 9i ship with a 92 Wh battery and come with a 2.8K/120 Hz OLED display by default. Alternatively, Lenovo offers both laptops with a 3.2K and 120 Hz Tandem OLED display that offers up to 1,000 nits in HDR mode. The new Pro 9i and Yoga Pro 9i can be configured with up to 64 GB of LPDDR5X-7467 RAM, too. Please see our Pro 9i Aura Edition Gen 11 review for full details about Lenovo's latest 16-inch laptop.
