Lenovo releases new 14-inch Thinkpad with up to 64 GB RAM and 120 Hz OLED display

Lenovo has quietly expanded the availability of another 14-inch ThinkPad. For context, the company released the ThinkPad T14 Gen 7 and the ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 earlier this week alongside the larger ThinkPad T16 Gen 5. Now, it has returned to the ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 11 Aura Edition with North American releases.
To recap, the ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 11 Aura Edition replaces its Gen 10 predecessor (curr. $1,930 on Amazon) with a 58 Wh battery, LPDDR5X-8533 RAM, a haptic trackpad and the choice between 5 MP or 10 MP webcams. For reference, while both webcams offer IR for Windows Hello, the latter also adds a Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor.
The ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 11 Aura Edition starts at CAD 3,639 in Canada and $2,528 in the US with a Core Ultra 5 335 vPro processor, 32 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD. Also, this SKU contains a 1200p IPS display with a 60 Hz refresh rate and 500 nits peak brightness.
Alternatively, Lenovo offers Core Ultra 7 355, Core Ultra 7 365 vPro and Core Ultra 7 366H vPro processors and three other display options up to a 2.8K (2,880 x 1,800) OLED panel with a 30-120 Hz VRR refresh rate and 500 nits peak brightness. Moreover, the new ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 can be configured with 16 GB of RAM when paired with the Core Ultra 7 355 and up to 64 GB of RAM if you opt for the Core Ultra 7 365 vPro.
