Razer releases new 16-inch gaming laptop globally with Intel Panther Lake and up to 64 GB RAM

Just over a month has passed since Razer introduced a new Blade 16 gaming laptop. Announced during Game Developers Conference 2026 (GDC 2026), the new Blade 16 replaced AMD silicon with a newer Intel alternative from its Panther Lake family.
Specifically, this year's Blade 16 is available exclusively with the Core Ultra 9 386H. A 16-core processor, the Core Ultra 9 386H outperforms the Ryzen AI 9 365 in last year's Blade 16 by about 10% according to our benchmarks. As a result, the Blade 16 2026 falls a way short of the Core Ultra 9 275HX found in the larger Blade 18 (curr. $4,849 - used on Amazon) we reviewed last July. Still, the Blade 16 2026 can be configured with up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 laptop GPU just like its 18-inch counterpart.

Initially, Razer priced the new Blade 16 at around $3,500 in its base form with a GeForce RTX 5080, 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. While this SKU is not currently available to order in the US, its pricing has increased by 14% to $3,999 in the US. Meanwhile, Razer charges £3,599 for the same SKU in the UK and €4,399 in the Eurozone. Incidentally, this SKU is only available to order in the UK for the time being.
Jumping to a GeForce RTX 5090 raises the Blade 16's price to $4,899, £4,399 and €5,499 in the Eurozone with 32 GB of RAM and a 2 TB SSD. Switching to 64 GB of RAM instead of 32 GB raises the Blade 16 further to $5,599, £4,999 in the UK, and €6,299 in the Eurozone. Currently, Razer US has stock of both GeForce RTX 5090 SKUs, unlike its European counterparts. Razer US estimates that 64 GB RAM orders will begin shipping on May 15, with 32 GB RAM alternatives arriving about a week earlier.
