Dell releases new 14-inch laptop globally with OLED display and 64 GB LPCAMM2 RAM

Dell has quietly released its Pro 5 Series 14 (P514260) laptop globally as a replacement of sorts for last year's Pro 14 PC14250 (curr. $1,099 on Amazon). To recap, the company presented the 14-inch laptop in late March.
At the time, Dell claimed that AMD and Intel processors would be available, with up to Ryzen AI 9 HX 400 options from AMD and Core Ultra X7 alternatives from Intel. For the time being, Dell is only selling the Pro 5 Series 14 with Intel processors. Specifically, the Pro 5 Series 14 can currently be configured with the following processors:
- Core Ultra 5 322 vPro
- Core Ultra 5 335 vPro
- Core Ultra 7 355
- Core Ultra 7 365 vPro
- Core Ultra 5 336H vPro
- Core Ultra 5 338H vPro
- Core Ultra 7 366H vPro
- Core Ultra X7 368H
Of those, only the Core Ultra X7 368H brings Intel's powerful Arc B390 iGPU to the table. Meanwhile, Dell also offers seven display options that consist of 1200p IPS, 1200p OLED and 1600p (2.5K) IPS panels. Only two of these support 120 Hz variable refresh rate (VRR) technology, though.
Setting that aside, the Pro 5 Series 14 can be configured with up to 2 TB of PCIe Gen 5 storage and 64 GB of LPDDR5X LPCAMM2 user-upgradeable RAM operating at 8,533 MT/s in dual-channel mode. NFC and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity are optional too, as are a fingerprint scanner and a Smart Card Reader. On top of that, Dell sells the laptop with a choice between 45 Wh, 57 Wh and 70 Wh 3-cell batteries.
Currently, the Pro 5 Series 14 starts at $2,409, £2,008.56, CAD 2,931 and €2,249-€2,354 before tinkering with Dell's configurator. For some reason, Dell is not selling the P514260 online in Australia. Please see the company's website and our launch article for more details about the company's new 14-inch laptop.
