Compact with up to 128 GB of RAM: The Acemagic F9A features AMD Ryzen AI Max+

Acemagic has unveiled its latest mini-PC, the Acemagic F9A. Measuring 158 × 158 × 85 mm (6.22 × 6.22 × 3.35 inches), the system features a compact chassis with a volume of around two liters. At its heart is the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 SoC, which packs 16 CPU cores (32 threads) alongside an integrated NPU delivering 50 TOPS of AI performance. Total system AI performance is rated at 126 TOPS. The machine supports up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X-8000 RAM and features two M.2 slots for PCIe 4.0 x4 SSDs.

While the mini-PC lacks dedicated discrete graphics, users can connect an external GPU via an OCuLink interface (PCIe 4.0 x4)—albeit with limited bandwidth compared to native desktop slots—using a compatible eGPU enclosure. Connectivity options include two USB4 ports, three 10 Gbps USB Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 output, dual 2.5 GbE Ethernet jacks, and Wi-Fi 7 support. An SD card reader and a 3.5 mm audio jack round out the I/O.

In addition to configurable RGB lighting, the F9A incorporates a physical Copilot button for quick access to Windows AI features, a microphone array, and dual 2-watt built-in speakers.
