Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 14 with Qualcomm Snapdragon can last an insane 19 hours

The 2026 Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 14 comes in multiple flavors including AMD Zen 5 and Qualcomm Snapdragon X2E options. Beyond the CPU differences, however, the two versions are visually identical sporting the same integrated ports and OLED display options. There is nonetheless one clear winner for buyers looking to maximize battery life.

According to our recent reviews of both the ARM-based Yoga Slim 7 14 and AMD-based Yoga Slim 7a 14, the former can run for up to 19 hours on battery compared to "just" 9 hours on the latter. These runtimes are based on the same WLAN test which loops a series of webpages every 40 seconds to simulate the typical browsing behavior of an end user.

It should be noted that our ARM Yoga test configuration includes a 1200p display whereas our AMD Yoga test configuration includes a more demanding 1800p one. While this indubitably favors the ARM configuration in terms of battery life, the deficit is wide enough that the display alone can't be responsible for the longer runtime on the ARM machine. The Yoga that comes closest to our ARM unit in runtime is the Lunar Lake-powered Yoga Pro 7i Gen 10 Aura which is actually slightly larger and heavier with its 14.5-inch screen size and 75 Wh battery pack. Even so, WLAN runtime is still behind by about 3 hours when subjected to similar testing conditions.
