Deal | New Lenovo ThinkCentre mini PC with Intel Lunar Lake and Arc 140V GPU gets a 21% discount

The Lenovo ThinkCentre Neo 50q Gen 6 (Intel) Tiny PC launched recently, starting at $1,179 for the Core Ultra 5 226V model and topping out at $1,619 for the Core Ultra 7 256V variant. With both configurations limited to 16GB of non-upgradeable RAM, Lenovo's pricing raised eyebrows given how much cheaper rival Lunar Lake mini PCs are.
For context, GMKtec sells the NucBox K13 Mini PC with the same Core Ultra 7 256V processor for $589.99, while the Core Ultra 5 226V-powered NucBox K17 starts at just $559.99. Lenovo's mini PC is still nowhere near those prices, but its first discount at least makes the premium a little easier to swallow if you want the reliability and long-term support Lenovo offers.
That said, the base Core Ultra 5 226V configuration has received a $230 discount, bringing its price down from $1,179 to $949. Meanwhile, the Core Ultra 7 256V model is on sale for $1,279, thanks to a $340 discount. In addition to the faster chip, the higher-end variant also doubles the storage to a 1 TB PCIe Gen4 SSD.
On the performance side, the new Intel Lunar Lake processors bring major gains in efficiency and integrated graphics, along with built-in NPU for local AI applications. Granted, the previous ThinkCentre Neo 50q Gen 5 still offers higher CPU performance with Intel's Core 5 210H and Core 7 240H processors, but the Core Ultra 5 226V and Core Ultra 7 256V pack much faster Arc 130V and Arc 140V GPUs. On top of that, the lower power draw also translates to quieter operation.
