New 15-inch gaming laptop released globally with 165 Hz OLED display and up to 96 GB RAM

Earlier this month, System76 introduced the Adder Pro laptop featuring Intel Panther Lake processors. As we mentioned at the time, System76 confirmed all key specifications about its new gaming laptop. However, it refrained from revealing how much the Adder Pro would cost.
Now, the company has opened Adder Pro pre-orders globally starting at $2,499. At the time of writing, System76 is only selling the Adder Pro with the Core Ultra 7 356H, a 16-core processor also found in other modern devices like the ThinkPad P16s Gen 5 and the Minisforum M2 (curr. $959 on Amazon), among others. By default, the Adder Pro ships with a Core Ultra 7 356H, 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage.

Alternatively, one can complement the 16-core processor with 32 GB, 64 GB or 96 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and 4 TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage with up to 7,450 MB/s read and 6,900 MB/s write speeds. Moreover, RAM and storage are replaceable, with System76 also including a second M.2 slot for adding additional storage. The same is true for the Adder Pro's modem, which comes with Bluetooth 6 and Wi-Fi 7 capabilities by default.
On top of that, the Adder Pro can be configured with Nvidia's GeForce RTX 5060 or GeForce RTX 5070 8GB laptop GPUs. One must configure a discrete GPU, though. Meanwhile, the Adder Pro's 60 Wh battery and a 15.3-inch/1600p OLED display cannot be upgraded or swapped for alternatives. Also, it is worth noting that a fully-configured Adder Pro costs $5,272 with 96 GB RAM, a 4 TB SSD and an RTX 5070 GPU. Please see System76's website for more details.
