Reany N1 GT debuts with Gates belt drive and 360 Wh battery in sleek design

The Reany N1 GT is a new electric bicycle aimed at urban riders. While design is always subjective, the N1 GT features a clean, understated look—especially in black—that blends in with conventional bikes and does not immediately appear electric. Priced at €2,599 in Germany, Reany is expanding across Europe and is not limited to direct online sales, also partnering with local retailers.
The bike is powered by a Mivice M080 hub motor (250 W, 45 Nm of torque) paired with a torque sensor for responsive assistance. Its removable 360 Wh battery is relatively compact, which is typical for city e-bikes. The N1 GT uses a single-speed setup instead of a traditional gear system, simplifying the drivetrain but increasing reliance on motor support when starting or riding uphill. A Gates carbon belt drive replaces a conventional chain and is designed to reduce maintenance.
Stopping power is provided by Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, now standard even in more affordable segments. For daily use, the N1 GT comes equipped with integrated lighting, fenders, and a minimalist rear rack designed for panniers rather than a spring clamp. The total weight is listed at 19.7 kilograms.
