OneXPlayer has now started selling its latest AMD Strix Halo-powered gaming handheld directly. Available with the Ryzen AI Max+ 388, the Mini 2 Pro also contains a 1,100-nit OLED display, an 85 Wh battery and up to 64 GB of LPDDR5X RAM running at 8,000 MT/s.

One of OneXPlayer's latest gaming handhelds is now available after a successful crowdfunding period. For context, the OneXPlayer X2 Mini Pro arrived just over a month ago on Indiegogo. Now, the handheld can be purchased directly from OneXPlayer's website rather than through a relatively risky crowdfunding platform.

To recap, the X2 Mini Pro comes exclusively with the Ryzen AI Max+ 388 from AMD's Strix Halo platform rather than the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 inside the OneXPlayer Apex (curr. $2,539 on Amazon). An 8-core processor, the Ryzen AI Max+ 388 contains AMD's powerful Radeon 8060S iGPU and peaks at 120 W when using its optional liquid cooling module. Additionally, OneXPlayer offers the handheld with 48 GB or 64 GB of LPDDR5x RAM running at 7,464 MT/s and 8,000 MT/s, respectively.

Moreover, the Mini 2 Pro features M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 4 SSD and Mini SSD slots, as well as USB 3.2 Type-A, USB 3.2 Type-C and USB 4 ports. An 85 Wh external battery is present too, as is an 8.8-inch OLED display. A native landscape panel, the large display outputs at 1,920 x 1,200 pixels with a 30-144 Hz variable refresh rate and 1,100 nits peak brightness in HDR mode. The Mini 2 Pro also integrates removable controllers like many previous OneXPlayer handhelds.

The OneXPlayer X2 Mini Pro starts at $2,499 when ordered directly from the OneXPlayer store. Allegedly discounted from a $2,699 MSRP, this starting SKU comes with 48 GB of RAM, 1 TB of storage and the same Ryzen AI Max+ 388 chipset as other variants. All configurations should begin shipping in August. Full pricing at the time of publication is as follows:
