Konkr Pocket Advance: Here's Ayaneo's take on the Game Boy Advance

After multiple teases, Ayaneo has finally revealed what its upcoming handheld, the Konkr Pocket Advance looks like. As predicted, the horizontal handheld shares its design with that of the discontinued Nintendo Game Boy Advance.
Based on the image, the Konkr Pocket Advance isn't a 1:1 recreation of the Game Boy Advance, but it does pay homage to the classic console in several ways. First, the shape of the shell is similar to that of the Game Boy Advance. It also has thick bezels around the screen, while the Start and Select buttons are angled. Ayaneo has also adopted the volume scroll wheel on the bottom right, and next to it is an audio jack, just like on the Nintendo's handheld.
There are notable changes, too, such as the redesigned D-pad and the ABXY buttons, which replace the AB buttons of the Game Boy Advance. The Konkr Pocket Advance also ditches the single speaker below the action buttons for a pair of additional buttons. The new handheld now has its two speakers which are on the left and right side of the frame, and in between them is a USB-C port. The power LED has also moved to the top of the display.
Unfortunately, the image doesn't provide a view of the top and the back of the handheld, but we can see a pair of large shoulder buttons, alongside a smaller one we believe is the power button.
The Konkr Pocket Advance is shown in Orange (with white buttons), one of the colors the Game Boy Advance was released in, and which was exclusive to Japan. We expect there will be other colors available at launch. Ayaneo hasn't revealed the technical specifications of the Konkr Pocket Advance, but these details will most likely be revealed as the release date draws closer.
