OneXPlayer details new gaming handhelds powered by Intel Arc G3 Extreme

OneXPlayer initially showcased the X2 Mini and X2 at a Chinese event held in July 2026, and now, the company has detailed the gaming handhelds at another event. As previously revealed, both are powered by the Intel Arc G3 Extreme, which is a proper rival to the Ryzen Z2 Extreme that powers competitors like the ROG Ally X and Legion Go 2.
Among the two, the OneXPlayer X2 is now confirmed to feature a 65Wh battery, which is the same as the predecessor. However, the efficiency gains brought by the new Intel Panther Lake chipset could bring improvement in terms of the runtimes.
This convertible gaming handheld is also set to feature a 10.95-inch display with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels. That means the screen isn't seeing an upgrade either, but the good part is that OneXPlayer has confirmed that the convertible tablet will be available with 48GB of RAM.
Moving to the OneXPlayer X2 Mini, as revealed at the new showcase, the gaming handheld will feature an 8.8-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. These specs match the display of the recently launched OneXPlayer 3, meaning that it could have a 144Hz refresh rate. The company has, however, confirmed VRR support.
The relatively compact gaming handheld is confirmed to be available with 32GB of RAM, and per the information shared, both will have support for an M.2 2280 SSD (2TB Samsung SSD 9100 Pro curr. $399.99 on Amazon), but it seems only the OneXPlayer X2 Mini will support mini SSD. More details, including the launch and pricing info, are expected to emerge soon.
