Konkr Pocket Advance: New Anbernic RG34XX rival pictured as 'first reveal' date officially confirmed

Ayaneo has shared more details about its next retro gaming handheld. To recap, the company teased earlier this month that it would be launching two handhelds soon. For the time being, it has not revealed anything new about its next Windows handheld.
Instead, it is focusing on the Konkr Pocket Advance, first by confirming the device's name on July 9. Now, Ayaneo has shared an image of the Pocket Advance. Embedded above and below, the image has been blurred to build anticipation before a 'first reveal' on July 17.

Nonetheless, one can already glean that the Pocket Advance leans heavily on the design of the classic Game Boy Advance. In that sense, the Pocket Advance appears set to rival the Anbernic RG34XX (curr. $79 on Amazon), which initially launched in December 2024.
Currently, Ayaneo has not even teased any hardware specifications. The company's recent releases indicate that the Pocket Advance will be more powerful than the RG34XX though, which relies on the relatively underpowered Allwinner H700 chipset. Unfortunately, it remains unclear when Ayaneo will begin selling the Konkr Pocket Advance, nor how much the handheld costs.
