Ayaneo reveals the name of its Game Boy Advance-inspired handheld

Just as we predicted a few days ago, Ayaneo's upcoming retro handheld will be based on the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. The confirmation comes from the manufacturer itself, as it revealed the official name of the handheld today.
Posting on its social media channels, Ayaneo says its upcoming handheld will launch as the Konkr Pocket Advance. Unfortunately, the announcement doesn't come with a first look at the device, but Ayaneo states that it is “paying tribute to a true icon”. It is also mentioned that the Konkr Pocket Advance will be a reimagination with a “playful style”.
In addition, the teaser image attached to the posts reveals an important detail, which is that the Konkr Pocket Advance is the first of a new series from Ayaneo's Konkr sub-brand. This likely means that there will be other classic handhelds under this series. Maybe, we might even get a remake of the Game Boy Advance SP, which has a clamshell design.
There's also a possibility that the previously announced Konkr Pocket Block may be a member of this new series, since its design is inspired by the classic vertical handheld, the Game Boy/Game Boy Pocket/Game Boy Color. The Konkr Pocket Block was officially unveiled in May, but no details about its specs, price and release date have been revealed.
Ayaneo has also not stated the specs of the Konkr Pocket Advance and when it will be launched. Although we expect Ayaneo will likely choose to reveal these details in bits just as it did with the Pocket Micro 2.
