Ayaneo unveils Konkr Pocket Block AI handheld

Following a leak revealing that Ayaneo was working on a new vertical handheld, the manufacturer has now officially unveiled the device. Called the Konkr Pocket Block, it is being advertised as the world's first AI handheld.
The Konkr Pocket Block was unveiled during a product sharing session, Ayaneo's first in months. No technical specifications of the Konkr Pocket Block were revealed, but Ayaneo did show off two color options. The design of the handheld is said to be a combination of retro aesthetics and cyber-inspired design language.
Ayaneo also describes it as lightweight and compact, and a still from the sharing session does show the handheld is much smaller when placed next to the Pocket Vert (available on Amazon for $369.99) and the Pocket DMG vertical handhelds. Ayaneo also compares its size to several devices, which you can see in the YouTube video below. In a nutshell, this is a device that will easily fit into your pocket just like the TrimUI Brick.
With respect to its AI features, Ayaneo says in its press release that the Konkr Pocket Block should “deliver a smarter and more immersive gaming experience while staying true to the essence of portable gaming”. Despite Ayaneo's CEO, Arthur Zhang, showing off a working unit, we didn't get to see what AI features the handheld has.
The Konkr Pocket Block has a touch display, stereo speakers, an audio jack, and shoulder buttons. It will run Android out of the box and will come with Ayaneo's custom UI. We can also expect it to come with Ayaneo's new emulator which debuted on the new Pocket Air Mini Arcade Home Limited Edition. While there's no price yet, we expect it to be affordable since it is launching under the Konkr brand.
