Ayaneo's Konkr Pocket Advance launches for $109, but early buyers get a $20 discount

Ayaneo has finally revealed the full spec sheet and pricing details for its new handheld, the Konkr Pocket Advance. The details were revealed during a product sharing session that was livestreamed on YouTube earlier today.

During a previous product sharing session, Ayaneo stated that the Konkr Pocket Advance will have a 3.5-inch high definition LCD panel with a 960 × 640 resolution, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and 4x pixel scaling.

It has now revealed that the handheld is powered by MediaTek's Helio G90T processor, the same one inside the Ayaneo Pocket Air Mini (available on Amazon for $144.99). This means performance should be similar on both handhelds, and according to Ayaneo, the Konkr Pocket Advance can emulate up to PS2 games.

The Konkr Pocket Advance will be available in two configurations — 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Both versions have a microSD card slot for adding more storage. The handheld will also feature a 4,000mAh battery, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, a gyroscope, stereo speakers, and a headphone jack. It also has a cooling fan, a rotor motor, and an active cooling system.

Ayaneo will ship the Game Boy Advance-inspired handheld with Android 12 with its custom software on top. Previously, it was revealed that the handheld will be available in Navy and Coral, but during the livestream, Ayaneo revealed a third color called Grey.

The Konkr Pocket Advance is available to pre-order now with a $20 discount on Ayaneo's website. This means the base model will be priced at $89 while the 4GB RAM version costs $109. After the pre-order period ends, the retail price will be $109 for the 3GB RAM version and $129 for the 4GB RAM version. Ayaneo has also stated that there are limited quantities available and that shipping will begin at the end of August.

With respect to accessories, Ayaneo will sell a $13.90 carrying case and a tempered glass screen protector that costs $8.90. There's also an eco-friendly paper stand and a cleaning cloth, but their prices are unknown and they are not listed on the manufacturer's website.
