Display upgrade vs. SSD downgrade. On the outside, the Acer Nitro 5 Spin is easily recognizable as the gaming version of the Acer Spin 5. However, trying to find other differences between the two convertibles is more difficult - there do not seem to be any at first glance. Is the Nitro hoping to reach gamer status by its red stripes alone, or does it have more to offer? We have put it to the test.

Under a kilogram. The LG Gram 13 lives up to its name by being one of the lightest 13.3-inch Ultrabooks currently available. It's not without some sacrifices, however, as its barebone set of hardware features and fragile lid stand out as key disadvantages.

Chinese luxury. Huawei used to be content with being low-end. However, now it is entering the high-end sector. The MediaPad M5 10.8 is the current top-end tablet from Huawei. Here, the manufacturer shows off its confidence when it comes to the asking price: Even the new iPad is cheaper under certain circumstances. So the question we have here is two-fold: Is Huawei asking too much for the new slate or is its new high-end tablet really that good?

Consistent: The HP mt21 scores well for its little fan noise, efficient heat management and good battery life. Its 14-inch display will win no prizes though.

Same body, new engine. The 14-inch Dell Latitude 7490 retains the same design as last year's Latitude 7480 but sports a new quad-core U-series CPU. The Core i7-8650U is a significant upgrade over the dual-core chip in the previous iteration. Does the increase in power warrant an upgrade?
