The Moto E5 Plus has made the trip over to Geekbench. The budget device will be powered by a Snapdragon 430, which is an improvement over the MT6737 on the Moto E4 Plus.

Sometime last week, Motorola sent out invites for a launch event that will take place on April 19, in Sao Paulo. The devices touted to be launched are the Moto G6, G6 Play, and G6 Plus. It would appear that the company also plans on releasing a few other budget devices alongside the aforementioned ones, one of which will apparently be the Moto E5 Plus. That device has made an appearance on Geekbench, posting scores that are about par with what we've seen from its SoC in the past.

The device will be powered by a Snapdragon 430. Its predecessor, the E4 Plus featured MediaTek's MT6737, so a Snapdragon 430 is a welcome change. It would be better if the 14nm Snapdragon 450 was used on this instead but, if the E4 Plus is any indication, the E5 Plus will likely be packed with a massive battery unit.

The Geekbench listing itself doesn't tell us much that we don't already know. The device records a score of 653 in single-core, and a 1835 one in multi-core. It also shows the device running on Android 8.0 Oreo, and with 3 GB of RAM.
