The Motorola Moto E5 and Moto E5 Plus finally arrive in India

The 5.7-inch Moto E5 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor and retails for around US$146, while the 5.99-inch Moto E5 Plus will be available in the region for about US$175 and sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430. In both cases, the screen resolution is an almost decent 1,440 x 720 pixels.

Announced at the end of May, the affordable Moto E5 and Moto E5 Plus are now available in India. The most attractive parts of these handsets are their big batteries and the generous displays, which are also the brightest ones to be used in the Moto E-series family so far.

If you missed the official announcement back in May, these are the highlights of the two Motorola handsets that are now ready to conquer India:

Moto E5: Qualcomm Snapdragon 425, 5.7-inch IPS with 1,440 x 720 pixels, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB storage, 5 MP/13 MP cameras, 4,000 mAh battery
Moto E5 Plus: Qualcomm Snapdragon 430, 5.99-inch IPS with 1,440 x 720 pixels, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB storage, 5 MP/12 MP cameras, 5,000 mAh battery

Both handsets mentioned above run Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box and come in Fine Gold finish, as well as Black (only the Moto E5 Plus) or Flash Gray (just the Moto E5).

When it comes to the availability of the Moto E5 and Moto E5 Plus, we should point out that the first will be available via Amazon.in online and at various mobile stores in the country, while its larger sibling will hit Amazon and Moto Hub stores in India. The price is INR₹11,999 (US$175) for the E5 Plus and INR₹9,999 (US$146) for the E5.
