The Moto G6 hits TENAA with Snapdragon 450 and a 3,000 mAh battery onboard
Tomorrow is a big day for those keeping an eye on the smartphone industry, but for gamers as well: while Huawei is expected to launch the P20 and P20 Pro handsets, alongside a mysterious Huawei Mate RS by Porsche Design, gamers will get Far Cry 5 on all major non-mobile platforms. Although the Moto G6 will probably launch some other day, today it has been spotted at TENAA.
The images that surfaced on TENAA reveal nothing surprising since photos showing the Moto G6 leaked online in the past as well. However, the new shots confirm what we already saw: the upcoming Moto G6 features a Home button with a fingerprint scanner inside and a dual camera setup as the main image shooter. This handset has a 3,000 mAh battery and its 5.7-inch display uses the 2:1 aspect ratio, having a resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels. At last, we should also mention the dimensions: 6.08 x 2.84 x 0.33 inches.
While some early rumors mentioned a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, most of the latest spottings of the Moto G6 involve a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450. This handset is expected to hit the market with at least two memory setups: one with 3 GB RAM, and the other with 4 GB. There is no new information about the internal storage available, but we expect at least 32 GB. Considering the mid-range offerings available on the market nowadays, it is rather safe to assume that the Moto G6 will come in 3 GB/32 GB and 4 GB/64 GB memory/storage configurations.
These being said, it only remains to wait for the official announcement, which should arrive in the coming weeks.
