Lenovo has held a big launch event in China, and the 2024 Legion R7000 is among the latest releases. The gaming laptop features the AMD Ryzen 7 8745H, a recently launched Hawk Point CPU. It's paired with up to Nvidia RTX 4060, 16 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of storage. The starting price is CNY 6699, about $923.

Lenovo has launched a new Android tablet in China, the 2024 Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.7. It's powered by the Dimensity 8300, the last year's flagship SoC from MediaTek. The tablet's starting price in China is CNY 1899, which is around $262, but there's no word on global availability and pricing yet.

Xiaomi has finally released its latest Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G refresh. Offered in an Olive Green finish with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, the new model is initially available with a series of launch offers totalling a 25% discount.

Intel has quietly introduced a new line of 14th-Gen Raptor Lake Refresh processors, the "14001" series. The chips feature only Performance cores (P-cores), ditching the Efficiency cores (E-cores) that have been central to Intel's recent microarchitectures. Dynabook asserts that its latest PCs are the smartest Tecra-series 'work' laptops it has made to date thanks to Meteor Lake (up to Intel Core Ultra 7 165H) processors that can run the Copilot assistant in Windows 11 Pro. Xiaomi's first-ever clamshell-style foldable, the Xiaomi Mix Flip, is finally here. It comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 4,800 mAh battery and two Leica-branded camera sensors.

Xiaomi has shown off its newest foldable: the Mix Fold 4. It comes with a high-end Qualcomm SoC, a 5,100 mAh battery, four camera sensors and a sleek chassis that measures just 9.47 mm folded. For now, it is available only in China starting at RMB 9,000 (EUR 1,134)

Xiaomi has updated its Smart Band portfolio with the Smart Band 9, which has arrived alongside the MIX Fold 4, MIX Flip and Redmi K70 Extreme Edition, among other devices. As expected, the Smart Band 9 contains numerous improvements from the Smart Band 8, including longer battery life.

Xiaomi touts the Buds 5 as a new source of flagship-level audio with features such as spatial audio and HiFi sound quality in an "exquisite" new design. The new Buds support the Qualcomm aptX Lossless codec as well as active noise cancellation (ANC), yet are priced at the equivalent of ~$100.

Xiaomi has unleashed the Watch S4 Sport as its new wearable for "intensive" pursuits and work-outs, diving included. Redmi has finally unleashed the top-end, or Extreme, variant of its flagship K70-series Android smartphones. It comes with an up-to-4,000 nit 1.5K AMOLED screen touted to maintain 144fps gaming. The Dimensity 9300 Plus-powered "Performance Demon" also has a Supreme Champion Edition with custom Lamborghini styling and 24GB of RAM.

The Hisense S7N CanvasTV is a cheaper alternative to Samsung's The Frame TV. Powered by Google TV, the CanvasTV turns into a piece of wall art when not in use.
