OXS has expanded its wireless gaming headphones portfolio by launching the latest pair of Storm G2 White Edition over-the-ear headphones. The new headsets use a 50 mm full-range dynamic driver with a frequency response of 20 to 20,000 Hz. They also come with advanced 7.1 virtual surround sound technology, which OXS claims delivers a great audio experience for gamers and audiophiles.
The Storm G2 supports passive noise cancellation technology and comes with dual ENC-enabled microphones (one built-in and one detachable), which are designed to reduce wind noise for better call quality when on the move. Speaking about ergonomics, the wireless headphones come with an adjustable headband (with 2-inch (~50 mm) expansion) and a 30° adjustable earcups with memory foam and skin-friendly protein leather for extended listening comfort.
Dimensionally, it measures 185 x 98 x 205 mm (7.3 x 3.9 x 8.1 inches) and weighs 250 grams (0.55 lbs). Furthermore, the Storm G2 houses a 1,000 mAh battery that is rated to offer up to 40 hours of battery life when noise cancellation and RGB lights are off, 24 hours with lights on, and fully recharges in 4 hours. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have fast charging support.
Moreover, the company has not revealed any information about the codec support. What we know is that the headphones can be connected using three different connection modes: Bluetooth, wired, and a 2-in-1 dongle for both Type-A and Type-C connections. They are compatible with everything from PCs, laptops, PS4/PS5, and Xbox to Switch, mobile devices, tablets, and other audio/visual devices.
The OXS Storm G2 White Edition wireless gaming headset is now available via OXS’ official website and Amazon US/UK for $79.99/£79.99. For more details, head over to the Storm G2’s official product page.
